A partnership between Orange County’s ReNEW program (Residents and Neighborhoods Empowered to Win…a county program offering various grants to assist with neighborhood improvement.) and LYNX will allow the agency to fulfill a request made by the Tangelo Park neighborhood and State Rep. Scott Randolph through Orange County Commissioner Tiffany Moore Russell to install shelters in the area.
One shelter each was placed on the north bound and south bound side of Mandarin Drive. The selected area is central to the neighborhood and will serve Tangelo Park Elementary School and the community. Links 37, 304 and 305 will utilize the shelters.
