ARRA Status Reports
Our customers are our top priority. With our $31.5 million ARRA grant we are renovating and updating our facilities, installing a minimum of 300 new shelters, improving safety and security for our customers and employees and adding more efficient and more comfortable buses to our fleet. Of the 19 projects approved in this grant, five are substantially completed and the majority of the remaining projects will be completed sometime next year.
In the most recent quarter (April, May and June, 2011) these projects created 152 jobs. As of July 31, LYNX has encumbered $23,616,631 or 75% of the award. Take a look at our progress in the attached reports, or learn more about the Recovery Act and what other agencies are doing at recovery.gov.
