LYNX Hurricane Milton Statement at 9 a.m. on Oct. 9
The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) is releasing the following statement pertaining to Hurricane Milton.
As Hurricane Milton heads towards the area LYNX will start pulling bus and NeighborLink service from the roads at 3 p.m. today until it is safe to travel again. All last trip schedules can be found here: https://www.golynx.com/news-events/hurricane-milton-service-update.stml.
ACCESS LYNX will only be providing life sustaining medical trips until 3 p.m. today. The paratransit service anticipates resuming life sustaining trips only on Friday. Customers are encouraged to call 407-423-8747 and book their trip.
Road Rangers will remain on the road until sustained winds reach 35 mph from Hurricane Milton. The LYNX transit system will then fully shut down temporarily for safety reasons.
