LYNX to Resume Charging Fares Sept. 1 on All Services
The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) Board Chairman and City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced today the agency will resume fare collection on all services effective Sept. 1. Fares have been waived since March 30 on bus, NeighborLink and ACCESS LYNX routes.
Customers may purchase passes at the LYNX Central Station Customer Service Window, the agency website golynx.com/fares-passes or via the LYNX PawPass mobile payment app available in the App Store or Google Play.
Any pass that was previously purchased is still valid provided it was not activated.
Currently LYNX is operating a full schedule with limited seating to help with social distancing. Facial coverings are required to ride a LYNX bus or enter an agency facility. Customers may receive a free mask at the LYNX Central Station Customer Service Window. Riders who are sick or travel isn't essential, are encouraged to please stay home and not ride the bus.
